Q: What happened to your shopping cart?
A: In an effort to simplify the shopping process, and provide a more personalized experience for each client, the shopping cart has been removed. All you need to do is make your selections, and send an email to sugarkittycorsets@gmail.com for a customized invoice. You're also welcome to email SugarKitty for a start-to-finish corset shopping consultation. She will help guide you through the entire corset purchasing process!
Q: Do you have a storefront? Do you do 'housecalls'? Where are you located?
A: Currently, we do not have a store. Wework out of a studio in Columbus, Ohio. For safety reasons, we do not come to client's homes. We do offer custom fitting services in the SugarKitty studio - please

Q: Will you sell my info? What is your Privacy Policy?
A: No way! Any info you give to SugarKitty Corsets is kept confidential. We hate spam and solicitation, too! We will keep you on file for one year in case you decide to order with SKC again.
Providing your measurements and weight is a sensitive thing! We keep all of this strictly confidential, and do not share it with anyone. Respecting your privacy is of the utmost importance to SKC! Any images posted on this site have been reproduced with the permission of the model/photographer. We will NEVER post anything without your express consent.
Q: Is your payment method secure? What type of payments do you accept?
A: Absolutely! We use
, which is an easy, and secure method of online payment. PayPal® accepts all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, AmEx and Discover) as forms of payment. The best part is, you don't have to become a member of PayPal® to send payment! Of course, we also accept SugarKitty Gift Certificates!
Q: What if I don't feel comfortable using a credit card online?
A: Contact me!! We WILL accept other methods of payment!
Q: How do you ship your items? Do you ship internationally?
A: We SHIP WORLDWIDE! All items shipped domestically are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. International shipping is available, and it will also be shipped via USPS.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS WITH AN UNCONFIRMED ADDRESS, OR THOSE THAT PAY WITH PROPAY WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT AN AUTHORIZATION FORM BEFORE THEIR ORDER IS PROCESSED. THIS IS TO PROTECT US FROM FRAUDULENT CHARGEBACKS THROUGH PAYPAL OR PROPAY.
Q: Do you accept returns on corsets? On any items?
A: We do not accept returns on any item. This includes corsets, handbags, or any item of clothing. Also, gift certificates are not redeemable for cash. If there is a fit or construction issue (i.e. construction flaws), the problem will be rectified. The corset cannot be returned simply because you changed your mind or decided it's not what you wanted.
A corset is a custom made, intimate item. Would you want to wear a corset that has already been worn by someone else?
If you provide reference photos/drawings/sketches/links/ideas for corsets and ask for a replication/duplicate, keep in mind, you're hiring an artist for their interpretation. No two corsets will ever look alike - even those made from the same exact materials.
There are absolutely no refunds, returns, or exchanges.
If there is a flaw with workmanship or sizing that is the fault of SugarKitty, you must notify us within 7 days of receipt of your order. We will need photographic proof that the corset doesn't fit or that there was a construction flaw. Once the appropriate documentation has been received, we will work out a befitting solution from there.
Q: Can I cancel my order?
A: NO. Sorry. Orders are custom - which means materials are generally ordered for your specific requests. Please clear up questions and concerns PRIOR to placing your order! There are absolutely no refunds, returns, or exchanges.
Q: Are corsets comfortable?
A: If a corset is made properly to fit your body, it should fit tight, but not too tight. It should compress only your waist, allowing you to breathe comfortably.
Q: How much will your corsets reduce my waist?
A: SugarKitty Corsets are designed to reduce your waist 2-4 inches. If you'd like a greater waist reduction, please specify when placing your order. MY CORSETS ARE SUITABLE FOR WAIST TRAINING!
Q: What kind of body do I need to wear a corset?
A: Any kind! Custom made corsets is what sets SugarKitty apart from most retail stores. Every corset is made to fit your body, and make it look gorgeous! YES, WE CAN MAKE A CORSET TO FIT YOUR SIZE! THAT'S WHAT CUSTOM IS ALL ABOUT!
Q: Do you sell your fabrics?
A: No, and we don't give out sources. Sorry.
Q: Why does it take up to 8 weeks for a corset to be made? Can it be done any faster? What about your other merchandise?
A: Each corset is made by hand! From start to finish, your corset is custom made. There may also be unforeseen delays, such as supplies or fabrics on backorder. You should receive your corset 6-8 weeks from the date we receive your measurement form. SOMETIMES WE GET BACKED UP!
SugarKitty does offer rush options. If a rush option is available, the chosen time frame will be guaranteed! Please inquire ahead of time!

Q: Do you offer other custom sewing services?
A: Sure! If we're not swamped with corset orders, we love a new challenge! We're always excited to work with someone to create something cool and unique. Please email if you're interested!
CUSTOM RATES BEGIN AT $25/HOUR. A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO BEGIN ANY CUSTOM WORK. The deposit amount will be determined by the type of work requested.

Q: Why don't you have a customer service phone number?
A: Too many inappropriate phone calls. Additionally, since there's only one person running the entire shebang, it's impossible to do everything AND take phone calls, too. It's much easier to keep up with emails (all pertinent information has a written record), and email is checked several times a day. Please don't ask for my phone number - I don't give it out.
